ABCSA are happy to offer help and support where needed.  I have seen the lovely dogs and cats for adoption myself and wish them well in finding their forever homes. I fell in love with Sophie, what a super dog! Abandoned Animals Association can be found at Little Pydew Farm, Ffordd Fynnon, Prestatyn (Old Rhyl roads). Here is a link to the website:

Petpals is an insurance company that will not only cover your cat or dog for medical/health insurance, they will also cover your pet if you are a tennant in rented acomodation, therefore the likes of doors, carpets etc are covered against damage that may occur. Very professional and very affordable cover, I use this myself.
There are increasing numbers of landlords saying 'no' to pets, however before considering surrendering your beloved pet to a rescue, please check with the prospective landlords if they will accept your pet if it is insured against damage - take a look, we fully recommend Petpals
