Welcome to Any Breed Cat and Small Animal Rescue.
Please feel free to browse through the pages, our 'Home' and 'Services' page explains in more detail what we do.
Any Breed Cat and Small Animal Rescue prides itself on its commitments to helping rescue and rehome small animals including cats, kittens, toy breed dogs, small furries etc.
Due to problems with email, I have not been able to answer any emails sent through, however this problem has now been fixed and I will endeavour to answer your enquiries as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately we are having to close our doors to intake of cats/kittens due to no more foster space and personal circumstances. If your cat/kitten or other pet is able to remain in your home until a new home can be found or foster space becomes available then please contact us. We apologise for this and hope to re-open soon.
The website is updated regularly. If you are looking for a particular type of cat/kitten, or other pet, please keep checking our 'homes needed' page or contact us.
We have a dedicated team of volunteers comprising of experienced Fosterers, transporters and microchip implanters.
We are currently recruiting voluntary foster carers. If you feel you can offer your time and care to some of these lovely cats and kittens, please contact us.
We are based in North Wales and cover the areas of Denbighshire, Flintshire (including Wrexham), and Conwy. Please note that we do not have a rescue centre. Our animals are looked after by experienced foster carers or remain in their current homes where possible until new homes are found. We will try and arrange viewings/meetings of the animals you are interested in.
We would like to say Thank You to those people who have donated items such as cat food. All donations are gratefully recieved especially at this time where we have quite a few cats and kittens in our care. Special THANK YOU to Kae who donated funds to enable us to purchase quite a lot of food, in which we are really grateful for.
All of our animals are fed on high quality food including Royal Canin, CSJ, Pedigree Chum, Whiskas, Felix etc.
All animals where applicable, adopted from ABC come with four weeks pet insurance through Pet Plan, the UK''s leading pet insurance company (Cat, Dog, Rabbit).
We do greatly appreciate donations of any kind, whether it be funds, tins/pouches of food, cat litter, bedding, carriers etc or bric a brac for us to sell on our stalls. This all helps in continuing to provide essential care to the animals who come into us. If you would like to donate to the rescue, please contact us and we can let you know where your nearest 'drop off' point is or you can use the Chip-In secure link on our 'Links' page.
All of our cats and kittens recieve their veterinary care from Wrexham Veterinary Care in Wrexham. A link to the vet website can be found on our sponsor/link page.
All cats are flead, wormed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered (unless too young or for medical reasons) and microchipped. A microchipping service is available to the public as well as rescue animals, please use the contact page or phone number for further details.
IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR PET OWNERS
It has become apparent that majority of reasons why cats come into our care, is because owners are having to move to rented accomodation and prospective landlords, or even current landlords, are not allowing the pets to move in with the owner.
Before thinking that there is no other choice but to rehome your pets if you are in these circumstances, please discuss with your landlords that you can obtain insurance for your pets as tennants which not only covers your pet against illness, accident or emergency, but also covers any damage or wear and tear that the pet may cause to the inside of the property e.g. scratched doors, the need for professional cleaning of carpets or replacement etc.
A landlord is more likely to accept your pet/s into the home if there is insurance in place.
